Memorials and Honour Rolls

There are still a large number of surviving memorials and rolls of honour around the city, if you know where to look. You can scroll through some of them, and one or two lost ones, here. If you know of a memorial anywhere in Hull which is not listed, please let us know; be it made of paper, stone or bronze - or anything else for that matter!

This memorial is in the form of a wall with a central inscription which reads; 
space TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF OFFICERS AND MEN OF THE ROYAL AIR FORCE AND OF THE RIGID AIR DETACHMENT UNITED STATES NAVY MEMBERS OF THE STAFF OF THE NATIONAL PHYSICAL LABORATORY AND OF THE ROYAL AIRSHIPS WORKS LOST IN AIRSHIP R.38 Z.R.2 AUGUST 24TH 1921 
There are two plaques, left (British) and right (USA), listing the names of the 38 personnel crew who lost their lives. space
